2025-26 NBA Clutch Player of the Year Odds
The clutch factor among NBA players has long been debated among basketball fans and the media. The subjective question of who you would want with the ball in their hands for the last shot has been asked countless times over the years. While the question can lead to great conversation, these debates have never truly been quantifiable.
Well, in 2022-23, the league decided to change that by introducing the Clutch Player of the Year Award. Edwards should be able to replicate, if not improve upon, his clutch numbers during the 2025-26 season, as he also had the 4th highest usage rate in the league during clutch time.
Luka Doncic (LA Lakers): The Lakers franchise is now in the hands of Luka Doncic. Sure, he may be teammates with LeBron James, but the Lakers' offense is going to revolve around the young superstar. Doncic has proven countless times that he is not afraid to take the last shot or have the ball in his hands during critical moments. During clutch time last season, Doncic managed a 121.7 offensive rating, and in games separated by five points or less, he also shot 40.6% from beyond the arc, according to BasketballReference.
