The Conference Final round of the NBA playoffs has led to some of the greatest moments and games in league history. During the 2024-25 postseason, the Eastern Conference Finals provided plenty of highlights, with the Pacers outlasting the Knicks in six games.
While the Thunder made light work of Minnesota in the Western Conference Finals, repeating that success will be no easy task with the target on their back. With the off-season and free agency underway, NBA bettors can start looking to place their futures for conference champions, and we'll keep them up to date on all odds movement from now until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Cleveland Cavaliers: Many expected the Cleveland Cavaliers to win their first conference finals since the 2017-18 season, but their impressive regular season did not seem to impress the Indiana Pacers, who eliminated them in the conference semi-finals. While the Cavs fell short of expectations, there is no reason to believe they won't be in the mix again next season as the trio of Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley will all be back in action in Kenny Atkinson's system.
New York Knicks: It had been 25 years since the Knicks reached the Eastern Conference Finals, and despite breaking that drought, their magical run would stop there. Following their exit from the postseason, Knicks management decided it was time to move on from Tom Thibodeau as the head coach, as the team has hired Mike Brown to take over. Since free agency began, the Knicks have also added Jordan Clarkson and Guerschon Yabusele, but it is expected that they will make a few more moves before the 2025-26 season.
Orlando Magic: The Magic possess a ton of young talent, but so far, that group has not been able to break through. Outside of Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, the Magic have struggled to consistently produce offense, which is why they started the off-season by trading Cole Anthony and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for Desmond Bane. With Bane's shooting, Orlando may finally be in a position to make noise during the postseason, especially with multiple Eastern Conference teams expected to be without their stars.

Oklahoma City Thunder: For the first time in franchise history, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be entering a season as the reigning NBA champions. After years of building a rock-solid young core, the Thunder are now in a position to become the next dynasty. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander running the show along with Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren, the Thunder have the talent on both sides of the ball to keep their success rolling, no matter how big the target on their back might be.
Houston Rockets: After a rebuild, the Houston Rockets have been slowly building into a contender, and entering the 2025-26 season, it appears they are ready to make a run for it all. Houston was bounced in the first round of the playoffs by the Warriors this past season, but they quickly made some upgrades to ensure that will not be the case this upcoming season. The first move they made was acquiring Kevin Durant from the Suns in exchange for Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks. Houston was also able to retain a significant portion of their talent, agreeing to contract extensions with Jabari Smith Jr., Fred VanVleet, and Steven Adams.
Denver Nuggets: It's been two seasons since the Nuggets became NBA champs, and while they've had enough talent to reach the postseason since then, their roster construction was not enough for a title run. Entering this season, though, that may no longer be the case as Denver traded Michael Porter Jr. for Cameron Johnson and has also acquired Jonas Valanciunas from the Kings. The Nuggets have also brought back Bruce Brown through free agency, giving them a roster that is far more well-suited to compete with the likes of OKC.
