Arsenal: It's been two seasons since an EPL team won the Champions League, and Arsenal will be looking to change that. During the league phase of the 2025-26 season, Arsenal allowed just four goals, helping them go 8-0-0. With 24 points and a (+19) goal differential, Arsenal is sitting atop the standings as the only undefeated team in the league. Arsenal will now wait until the Round of 16 for their next Champions League match, where they will take on either Leverkusen or Atalanta.
Bayern Munich: Not only is Bayern Munich second in the league in goals scored with 22, but they are one of just three teams that finished with more than five wins. Following a 2-1 victory over PSV to end the league phase, Bayern Munich boasts a (+14) goal differential, again putting them in a prestigious group of four teams with a double-digit goal differential.
Paris Saint-Germain: For the first time in club history, PSG entered the season as the reigning champions. While they would get off to a strong start in their hunt for a repeat, the reigning champs finished league play with a 4-2-2 record and a (+10) goal differential. With 14 points, PSG did not do enough to bypass the Knockout Stage, so it took beating Monaco 5-4 on aggregate to advance to the Round of 16, where they will play either Barcelona or Chelsea.
