With the influx of young players like Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese, and more, bettors are starting to place wagers on the action, and the league has more engagement than ever before. High-end talent has always been present in the WNBA, but attracting a consistent fan base has been challenging until now.

The 2024 season ended with the New York Liberty being crowned champions. With the 2025 season underway, fans can continue placing futures, and we'll break down the best odds to win the WNBA title across all the US-based sportsbooks.

New York Liberty: The New York Liberty earned the #1 seed in the playoffs, and they used that home-court advantage to win the 2024 WNBA Finals in five games. While many people question the officiating in the deciding game of the finals, the Liberty are still champions for the first time in franchise history. New York immediately became the favorites to repeat as champions in 2025, and they've since started the season with a 4-0 record and a (+17.2) point differential.
Minnesota Lynx: The Lynx finished the regular season with the second-best record in the league and the best record in the Western Conference at 30-10. With a NET rating of 8, the Lynx earned the #2 seed and fell just short of another title. Minnesota is still in a good spot moving forward with Napheesa Collins leading the charge, so it's not shocking to see them right behind the Liberty on the odds board. Early on in the 2025 season, the Lynx have yet to find their way into the loss column, as they are averaging 86.2 points per game.
Las Vegas Aces: The Aces failed to reach the WNBA Finals for a third consecutive year, but they still project to be a powerhouse next season behind A'ja Wilson. One area that Las Vegas must improve upon for the 2025 season is their defense, as they finished 5th in defensive rating in 2024, and that is one area that hurt them during the 2024 postseason. While there is still plenty of time left in the season, the Aces' defense continues to be a problem as they are 2-2 with a (-1.5) point differential.

The added attention to the WNBA has primarily stemmed from the influx of talent the league has seen over the past few seasons. Players like A'Ja Wilson and Caitlin Clark have made the league a must-watch event on a nightly basis. Following the 2024 WNBA Finals, Wilson and Clark opened atop the odds board for the 2025 MVP, but there are certainly plenty of players who could end up taking home the award, such as current favorite Napheesa Collier.

Odds on May 29, 2025
Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx): Behind her 20.4 PPG, Collins led her team to the WNBA Finals in 2024. Like Wilson, the Lynx star does everything well on the court, pulling down 9.7 rebounds per game. Collins is one of the purest scoring threats in the league, shooting 49.2% from the field in 2024. After falling short of a title, Collier certainly looks motivated to get back to the WNBA Finals, as she's opened the 2025 season by averaging 26.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
Caitlin Clark (Indiana Fever): Even with how good Wilson is, Clark solidified herself as the face of the WNBA in her rookie season. If voters considered viewership numbers, the Fever guard likely would have won more than just Rookie of the Year. Clark finished 7th in the league this season in points per game with an average of 19.2, but she also broke the rookie assist record, averaging 8.4 per game. To open her sophomore season in the WNBA, Clark is averaging 19 points, 9.3 assists, and 6.0 rebounds per game. However, a quadriceps injury is expected to keep her out for at least two weeks.
A'ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces): Wilson took home her third MVP in 2024 with another stellar season, in which she led the league in scoring with 26.9 PPG. The Aces star averaged almost four more points per game than the second-leading scorer in the league, as he remains dominant in that aspect. Wilson also finished second in the league in rebounding, as her ability to be an all-around player makes her a tough person to knock off for this award. Through four games in the 2025 season, Wilson is averaging a double-double with 20.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.
Another loaded rookie class, headlined by Paige Bueckers, has joined the league for the 2025 season, and while Bueckers opened as the favorite to win the award, there are certainly a few players who could make some noise in their rookie season. Down below, we will dive into the odds for ROTY, keeping WNBA bettors up to date on all odds changes.

Paige Bueckers (Dallas Wings): After her storied college career, which ended with a National Championship, Bueckers was expected to be taken 1st overall, and the Dallas Wings made that a reality. In her senior year, Bueckers averaged 19.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists, as she is expected to be one of the focal points of the Wings' offense in her rookie season. To start her WNBA career, Bueckers is averaging 14.6 points and 6.4 assists per game.
Kiki Iriafen (Washington Mystics): After drafting Sonia Citron with the third pick in the draft, the Mystics quickly followed that up by selecting Iriafen 4th overall out of USC. Iriafen was drafted to help solidify the Mystics' interior, and so far she has done that by averaging a double-double with 14.2 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
Sonia Citron (Washington Mystics): The Mystics selected Citron with the third pick in the WNBA Draft, which came after her impressive season at Notre Dame. Citron averaged 14.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in her senior season, and her impressive three-point shooting has already carried over into her pro career, as her 40% three-point percentage has resulted in her averaging 15 points per game this season.
