Philadelphia Eagles: After getting off to a 2-2 start, the Eagles rattled off ten straight wins, helping them secure a 14-3 regular season. With that, Philadelphia secured home-field advantage for at least the first two games of the playoffs. In the first round, the Eagles picked up a 22-10 win over the Packers, and while their defense was dominant, they did suffer a massive blow by losing Nakobe Dean to an injury. With Dean out for the remainder of the playoffs, Philadelphia still held on to beat the Rams at home, which sets them up for an NFC East game in the NFC Title game where they will play Jayden Daniels and the Commanders.
Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense have not been the typical dominant year we have become used to. However, the Chiefs still entered the playoffs as the #1 seed in the AFC. By going 15-2 heading in the regular season, Kansas City was able to rest their starters in week 18, which means guys like Mahomes had around 23 days to rest before they played the Houston Texans. By beating Houston, the Chiefs will be playing in their sixth consecutive AFC Title game.
Buffalo Bills: For the first time since 2021, the Buffalo Bills will be playing in the Conference Championship game. While Josh Allen has put together some solid playoff wins, none are bigger than the Bills win over the Ravens. Now, Allen and the Bills will head to Arrowhead to take on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, who they are 0-3 against in the playoffs since 2021.
